Ingredients
- 1 each 9-inch/23cm blind-baked tart shell Sugar Dough Recipe
Walnut-Hazelnut Mixture
- 100 g Walnut
- 100 g Hazelnut
- 2 g Salt
- 30 g Butter
- 150 g Corn syrup or glucose
- 70 g Maple syrup
- 100 g Eggs
- 3 g Vanilla
- 20 g Rum or whisky
Instructions
- Lightly toast nuts and crush. In a skillet, melt together: butter, salt, vanilla, corn syrup and maple syrup. remove from the heat and add the nut mixture. Meanwhile, beat eggs and add the room temperature nut mixture. Fill up the pre-baked crust.
Baking
- Bake at 330ยบF/165ยบC in a fan oven for 30 minutes. Let cool and cut out with a serrated knife. Enjoy!
