One pain de mie slice makes 4 bite size appetizers. Spread soften butter, carpet buttered bread with smoked salmon slices. Once done, place in the freezer for a couple of hours. Square off, and cut into 4 portions. Top canapé with some salmon roe caviar, a little piece of lemon supreme, and dill. Wrap up and keep refrigerated for up to 2 days. Serve with a glass of Champagne, or Chardonnay. Enjoy!

Terrific! Really, it’s fun making them. These little guys bring some magic to the table and taste of luxury.
I made them for my boyfriend’s family and everyone was very impressed.
Merci beaucoup for this wonderful recipe, Bruno Albouze. And greetings from Munich, Germany 😉
